- Teaching targets
- Write a focused answer with accurate relevant details and explanation; revise references and connections so readers can follow the paragraph while preserving the stated meaning. Explain at least one revision.
- Fit and prerequisites
- Grade 6 is the authoring target; check local curriculum and learner needs. Learners can read or listen to a short text and write, type or dictate a paragraph. Use L07 for supported paragraph writing and L08 for meaning-preserving clarity and coherence before this check.
- Materials and access
- The selected student file, pencil or typing/dictation option, and separate teacher guide. Read-aloud or text-to-speech may support access when decoding is not the target. Preserve the learner’s own claim, evidence, reasoning and revision choices; record actual support and response mode.
- Version and review
- G6W01 v1.0.0. AI-authored and independently AI-reviewed within the recorded version and scope. Classroom effectiveness, grade fit and timing have not been established. Brief responses support tentative local teaching moves; they are not diagnostic scores, placement decisions or validated equivalent forms.
Teach, respond and revise
- Teach or revisit L07: Write an Evidence-Based Paragraph and L08: Revise a Paragraph for Clarity and Coherence as needed. Once their texts have been shown or discussed, they are practice.
- After teaching, give only Check only if its stimuli are unused. Its writing source and revision draft are distinct. Keep keys and future checks separate.
- Review writing and revision criteria separately. Distinguish an unsupported answer from an answer whose wording is unclear. Clarify uncertain conditions, then choose one supplied continue, clarify, reteach or extend task.
- Use the selected route as practice. Reserve Fresh recheck for after the response task and Later transfer for another learning opportunity. Record actual exposure, supports and observations. Different passages are not calibrated equivalent forms.

Choose a next move
- L07 paragraph teaching — Use when the claim, evidence or explanation needs introduction.
- L08 revision teaching — Use when the meaning is present but references, order or connections obscure it. Correct unsupported content before polishing wording.
- Evidence and Revision Review Cards — Select a relevant card for further practice; a used card is not an unused check.
- Check for Understanding and Choose the Next Step — Record local observations and conditions using this cycle’s separate writing and revision criteria; keep student-identifying data off the site.
- Collection starting route and classroom package — Obtain first-teaching files and the new response cycle together.
