# Kit 2 v1.0.0 — independent AI review

## Scope and method

I solved every task in the actual seven-page student PDF before reading the eight-page teacher guide. I then checked every key and accepted alternative, all five standalone student selection PDFs, the one-page quick start, page contact renderings, and native DOCX tables. I checked the science and partial standards links against official [NGSS MS-PS3-4](https://www.nextgenscience.org/pe/ms-ps3-4-energy) and [MS-PS3-3](https://www.nextgenscience.org/pe/ms-ps3-3-energy). I did not independently render DOCX in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice and did not test assistive technology.

Every task has a key. Follow-up A addresses using arithmetic to excuse a confound; B addresses vague recording plans and material-property overclaims. Both include a fresh check. The guide accepts alternative matching values, a cautious non-preference for a one-degree single-trial difference, oral/labeled responses, and clarification before reteach. It does not treat one-variable-at-a-time as a universal science rule. Constructed-data disclosure appears beside every supplied table, including standalone PDFs. The five selections carry their own data and contain no teacher keys. All pages contain selectable text; native DOCX tables have first-row header flags (10/10 in each full DOCX).
