Read a small table, identify the units and subtract whole numbers. Use the included bridge if needed.

Give each independent or new-evidence file only at the stage described below. Keep answers with the teacher.
Teach and demonstrate
Trace one row from start to finish. Name the time, starting value, final value, change and warming/cooling direction. Show that the graph represents the same record. Model only the teaching record, then guide the cooling record.
Learner work and evidence
Give the independent New readings page after practice. Collect starting/final readings, change, direction and a statement that describes the observation without inventing its cause.
Next decision and continuation
Use Keep readings in one row if values are mixed; use A value is not a change if the final value is reported as the change. Keep the Later assessment unseen. The original Quick Check repeats this independent task.
