The Club Robot

The coding club placed its small robot at the start line. It was supposed to roll toward a paper flag. Instead, it moved left, paused, spun in a circle, and then rolled backward. Jo changed one setting, but the next test followed a different route: the robot raced forward, stopped beside the wall, and turned away from the flag. “Its path is erratic,” Jo said, writing down every movement so the club could find the problem.
