Which Design Is Better Supported?

Library package prepared 2 November 2026. Revised guides are marked with that date; unchanged teacher and student/core editions retain their file labels. Use the matching current guide supplied beside each task.

Keep this package with the teacher. Choose one stage at a time. Distribute only its student files and required sources. Teacher keys and reserved independent/follow-up/later tasks have separate folders. A teaching model may intentionally contain an answer; keep checks for later use aside during teaching.

PDF and available native editable files are included. Open the linked preparation page for accessible browser versions, current printing directions and any additional equipment. Online links need an internet connection. Timings are planning estimates; these materials do not establish classroom effectiveness or test equivalence.

Which Design Is Better Supported?

Compare temperature results across trials, support a sleeve choice, and limit the claim. Includes its prerequisite mini-lesson.

Prerequisites: Read a small table, subtract whole-number temperatures, recognize °C, and distinguish starting and final readings. The included mini-lesson teaches these moves before the main task.

Prepare: Read the quick start and choose the student pages; preparation time depends on the selected route. Timing: Allow about 36–44 minutes for the full route, 10–15 minutes for a reteach, or 5–8 minutes for the later check. Planning estimate; adjust for your class.
