Compare the mural accounts
Invented accounts. A — An: I worked on the left side of the mural. Before we put down our brushes, I added two green leaves beside the large red flower. The group then washed the brushes in the sink. I was checking the shapes of the leaves. B — Mel: I stood back to look at the whole mural. I saw the large red flower, and then our group washed the brushes in the sink. From where I stood I could not make out the small shapes beside the flower. I was checking whether the mural could be seen from across the room.
Name two shared details, one detail or emphasis unique to each account, and how positions or roles shape those emphases. Does Mel deny that An painted leaves? Support your answer with the exact wording. Name one thing these accounts do not establish. Work independently through your agreed response route.
