2. A short cord is 7 cm long and a long cord is 21 cm long. Find how many times as long and how many centimeters longer. Explain using the short cord as the baseline.

Label the amounts and the unit in your drawing or explanation.

1. A 4 m length of ribbon is shared equally among 3 projects. Ribbon may be cut with no length lost. Find the length for each project and show how the shares use all 4 m. Label the 1 m whole in a drawing or explanation.

2. A 1 L amount is poured into 3 portions of 1/2 L, 1/4 L and 1/4 L. Kai says each portion is 1/3 L because there are 3 portions. Is this correct? Explain.
