Teach, Respond and Revise · C07 v1.0.0 · Grade 6 ELA

One complete composition cycle connecting accepted L07 evidence paragraphs and L08 clarity/coherence revision to G6W01 check and response tasks.

1. Teach the two different moves

Use L07 v0.1.2 for a focused claim, accurate relevant evidence, explanation and readable ending. Use L08 v0.1.4 for clear references, connected order, preservation of every stated fact/result and a meaningful revision explanation.

2. Give the selected check

Use student/check-only.pdf, DOCX or HTML after teaching. It contains a writing source and a different revision draft, task conditions and response room. Do not show the teacher key beforehand.

3. Choose a concrete response task

Use route-continue, route-clarify, route-reteach or route-extend from tentative criterion evidence and response conditions. The four routes share exposed practice texts and give different work. They are not student categories or mastery levels.

4. Reserve new evidence

Keep student/fresh-recheck and student/later-transfer unused until their planned occasions. Different passages are not calibrated equivalent forms. Record supports and exposure before interpreting a response.

Prepare files

Teacher-only classroom ZIP: open this Start Here first, then teacher/teacher-guide for keys and print selections. Give students only the selected student file. All nine new documents have PDF, editable DOCX and usable HTML versions. Original L07/L08 files are exact copies inside the ZIP.

Original fictional instructional text. Classroom effectiveness has not been established. Current review scope and publication status are recorded on the resource page; optional human feedback is not a mandatory release gate.

Use each selected student PDF in full, including the explanation page. Print one-sided or duplex locally; do not combine reserved selections into a student packet. Use extra labeled paper or type if more room is needed. Editable/native DOCX contains text and response paragraphs; pagination depends on local software. HTML reflows for screen reading and prints with the same content.

ZIP foundations: downloads/l07/v0.1.2/ and downloads/l08/v0.1.4/ preserve original filenames, versions and bytes. VERSION-MAP.json lists every original path and SHA256. L07 includes the learner PowerPoint; L08 has teacher and learner PDF/DOCX. Existing lesson texts are practice after exposure.

Record task/version, exposure, response mode and exact help. Reading aloud, chunking, text-to-speech, oral rehearsal, dictation and typing may support access when appropriate. Preserve the learner’s claim, evidence and wording choices. Keep student identifiers and records locally.

Scope: eight distinct L07/L08 criteria; tentative next teaching moves. No diagnosis, ranking, mastery cutoff, equivalent-form calibration, physical print trial, assistive-technology conformance or learner-outcome evidence is claimed.
