Teacher-only planning guide · C06 v1.0.0
Help a teacher who has taught L06 gather a genuinely unused character-change response, choose a concrete next teaching move from the visible evidence, and revisit the same four components with reserved new text. This is one bounded evidence-to-response-to-recheck journey, not a full ELA course.
Teach with the accepted lesson first
Use original L06 v0.1.1 for the first model, guided practice and independent practice. All Anika tasks in L06 and the C04 independent-use adaptation use “The Next Test.” Independent-use remains valid practice after teaching; it is not an unused check.
Gather a new response, then act
After L06, give the separate new check-only file. Choose one supplied continue, clarify, reteach or extend practice response using the visible evidence. Keep fresh-recheck and later-transfer files reserved for subsequent responses.
Teacher-only classroom ZIP
C06-v1.0.0-classroom.zip contains all teacher keys and all future stimuli. Keep it teacher-only; give students only the selected separate files. A preview of this page contains no check passage or intended answer.
Bounded target
Compare early and later character words/actions, explain a defensible local change separate from circumstances, and name a reasonable limit. This is one Grade 6 response cycle, not a full ELA course.

Each stem is supplied as .pdf, .docx and .html under /downloads/character-change/v1.0.0/. PDF page selections are fixed; editable Word pages may move. In two-page student files, the story is page 1 and directions/response space page 2. Reteach page 1 is instruction, page 2 story, page 3 response.
Teacher guide map
Pages 1–3 setup, evidence, exposure; 4–7 continue/clarify/reteach/extend; 8–14 C1/N1/Q1/R1/X1/F1/T1 keys; 15 local record; 16 provenance. All four routes reuse Leena: repeated route exposure remains practice.
Access
Keep the entire passage available. Neutral read-aloud or text-to-speech, oral response, dictation, and extra processing time may support access. Do not emphasize answer clues, explain motives, select evidence, or paraphrase away the reasoning. Record actual mode, reading help, prompts, other supports, timing, and prior exposure. Follow known local access arrangements.

Use and limits
Use separate criteria and tentative local teaching decisions. No summed cutoff, ranking, diagnosis, mastery threshold, equivalent-form claim, or classroom-effectiveness claim. These constructed tasks have not been learner-tested or calibrated.
Keep C1, F1, T1 and all intended keys out of sight until the designated collection. Sharing any task or key makes it practice; record it and do not count it as fresh. All four routes reuse Leena, so a second route is additional practice, never another fresh check. R1 includes the explicitly taught Cora model.
README.txt and VERSION-MAP.json identify exact source URLs, file hashes and instructional versions. No old ZIP is rebuilt. Keep local evidence records private; no student submission to the site is needed.
New source state: NEEDS_INDEPENDENT_AI_REVIEW. Actual later review and publication status are recorded separately; earlier L06 approval does not extend to this new cycle.
